Paintings
My paintings start with an online tool that I made. This tool involves a PHP script along with a collection of Flash stencils that I update on an ongoing basis. The stencils are drawn from news stories I read, pop icons and decorative images.
When I use this tool, it gives me a set of instructions and a set of stencils to make a painting. The paintings that result show range of imagery juxtiposed randomly in varying patterns.
There is a small gallery of the paintings I have made so far.
I have been busy updating the script that I use in my process and will be creating new paintings in the near future.
